RESULTS Basketball Clinics are directed by: Matt MacKenzie is currently an Assistant Coach of Women’s Basketball for NCAA Div. III Husson University in Bangor, ME. Matt has been coaching with Eagles’ Hall of Fame Head Coach Kissy Walker for the past 9 seasons.  MacKenzie has 10 years of teaching experience in Physical Education, and owns and operates Unlock Your Potential Training & Performance Center in Bangor, ME. Matt trains over 50 players on a weekly basis out of his private training facility, many whom have been featured on all-state teams and/or currently play at the collegiate level.  Prior to coaching, Matt played basketball and was a captain at Husson University from 2006-2010, leading his team to Husson’s first ever NCAA National Tournament appearance in 2009. While at Husson, MacKenzie scored 1300 points and collected nearly 500 rebounds, earning 1st Team All-Conference and All-Region Honors.   Mark Baxter currently serves as a collegiate basketball advanced scout for several local NCAA basketball programs. He has over 18 years of coaching experience at the middle school, high school, and college level.  Coach Baxter has been featured at several basketball camps across the country including Nike Elite, Adidas ABCD, and Five-Star Basketball Academy as both a coach and guest speaker. He has given instruction to many top-level collegiate prospects, as well as current/former NBA players. Baxter has also put on several of his own basketball clinics before co-founding RESULTS with Matt MacKenzie in 2011.  In addition to coaching, Mark is a 5th grade school teacher in Blue Hill, Maine and privately trains over 50 athletes in the Ellsworth/Hancock County region of Maine.   Some highlights of our clinics include: · Becoming a better shooter: Off the dribble, off of a cut, and coming off of a screen! · Better Ball Handling: Learn moves that keep you in control of the ball and give you better looks at the basket! · Improving your post game: How to become a FORCE in the paint! · 1 on 1 & Team Defense! Need a New form of exercise that is fun and helps with the body and mind? Come join us line dancing! Line dancing is not difficult once you know the basics.  Each dance is the same steps in a different order to different music.Do you know how and haven't been on the dance floor lately?  Come join us! This class is made for folks who have done some dancing and are familiar with basic steps such as: grape vine, shuffle, kick ball change, jazz box, lock steps, weaves, and other goodies.  We are a group of 15-25 (depending on the time of year) mostly female dancers age 60s-80s. We dance to all kinds of music, country, oldies, and some new stuff. We do boot scootin' stuff, contemporary stuff, as well as waltzes and occasional tango! Line dancing is good for your body and your mind. We need to keep the brain cells as active as the muscles! Think of it as doing a puzzle, math, memory games and sweating!  You can't burn calories doing crosswords and sudoko! Come on in!Drop in program.  This is a co-ed class for adults.  Fee is per person, per day.

Need a New form of exercise that is fun and helps with the body and mind? Come join us line dancing! Line dancing is not difficult once you know the basics.  Each dance is the same steps in a different order to different music.Do you know how and haven't been on the dance floor lately?  Come join us! This class is made for folks who have done some dancing and are familiar with basic steps such as: grape vine, shuffle, kick ball change, jazz box, lock steps, weaves, and other goodies.  We are a group of 15-25 (depending on the time of year) mostly female dancers age 60s-80s. We dance to all kinds of music, country, oldies, and some new stuff. We do boot scootin' stuff, contemporary stuff, as well as waltzes and occasional tango! Line dancing is good for your body and your mind. We need to keep the brain cells as active as the muscles! Think of it as doing a puzzle, math, memory games and sweating!  You can't burn calories doing crosswords and sudoko! Come on in!Drop in program.  This is a co-ed class for adults.  Fee is per person, per day.

Adult basketball pick up games.  Must have completed high school to participate.

9:15 AM - 10:45 AM    Pickle Ball - Pickle Ball
Pickle Ball is a paddle sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.  Come in and learn this new sport.
 
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM    Open Gym at Skehan Center - Summer Open Gym
Join us for Open Gym this session...get some exercise, have a game inside with your friends, or keep your skills sharp!  Students grade 3 and up may attend the open gym without parent onsite.  Families with students younger than grade 3 welcome to attend with parent remaining onsite.This is a drop in Coed program. Fee is per person, per day.  Please complete and emergency card to be kept onsite for emergency purposes.
